On Tuesday night, Stephen ‘MAGA Hulk” Davis, gave a riveting speech on critical race theory (CRT) and the threat it poses to modern American society. The Turning Point USA chapter at NCSU gladly hosted the speaker in Caldwell Hall with 50+ people in attendance. The HULK then proceeded to deliver his thoughts on CRT and how leftist professors and teachers in universities and elementary schools perpetuate Marxist ideology in learning spaces across America.
Steven opened his speech with explosive energy and kept the momentum throughout the entire lecture; barreling through a number of topics in a fun but research heavy and academic manner. No holds were barred as he painted the picture very clearly as to how CRT defines racial conflict in America stating “CRT casts white people as being hopelessly oppressive and black people as being hopelessly oppressed.”
He emphasized the devastating nature of these theories by highlighting its tendency to destroy the social mindset of people who buy into the teachings of critical theory. “[its] dangerous because it teaches people to be victims”. Stephen especially honed in on that point, spending a good amount of time explaining the way that even elementary school teachers drill these ideas into the heads of their students. Davis backed up these claims and was by no means amused when he showed the crowd multiple examples of homework assignments from various schools with questions like “how can you be an anti-racist?’ and “what aspects of your white privilege do you recognize?”.
Steven had no time for the common leftist line- “CRT isn’t taught in elementary schools, its only taught in universities!”. He made the point that most of the time elementary schools get away with teaching the theory and slipping some of its key aspects into curriculums- and it’s all by sneaky euphemisms. Davis made it clear that phrases and words such as anti-racism training, educational equity, cultural competency, and diversity, equity and inclusion training (DEI) were all euphemisms that serve as a trojan horse to CRT in the classroom.
He then brought his speech to a close by emphasizing the importance of debunking relativism in our culture- as that is the ultimate force that gives CRT the breath in its lungs. Relativism can be defined as “living YOUR truth as not living THE truth” as Steven put it. He then encouraged all the young patriots in the room to seek out and promote objective truth, it’s the only way that relativism can be stomped out.

Exclusive Interview:
I sat down with the former American Idol bodyguard and asked him a few personal questions and discussed why he was passionate about his career as a political activist.
Hambright: “What kickstarted your career in politics…”
Davis: “It was a series of moments where I was realizing that the things the media was saying about Donald Trump and what he said were not true; and I started looking at the transcripts of what Donald Trump was actually saying and what the media would paraphrase or reword and that sort of thing. So, I was like- wait a minute, that’s not what he said. I specifically remember hearing him say something completely different. That- that was one of my main wake-ups; was like- okay yeah, he’s racist, sexist, bigot, homophobic, transphobe, xenophobe- but that’s not what he said. And I started comparing and contrasting and that’s when I realized I couldn’t trust the media to save my life… so I went to the right.”
Hambright: “Why is combating critical race theory important to you in particular?”
Davis: “I had a lot of racial ideologies, a lot of things that I shouldn’t have adhered to when it comes to race- the demonization of white people, and seeing me fall into that and see why it is being perpetuated in this day and age through critical race theory, through all [these] racial lens- looking at everything through a racial lens. Its incumbent on me at this point in time to fight against that which I fell for, which other people in the black community fall for… and fight for the future of our country- because in the future, if we continue on this path, of demonizing based on the color of skin, tribalism- what happened in Chicago* is going to be common place. And I firmly believe that [the] woman getting beat in Chicago was because of the color of her skin. They say driving while black, nah, [its] being white at night, that’s what it is. Can’t be white at night!
Hambright: I gotcha!
Hambright: I did want to ask you about this, I noticed your necklace- are you Christian?
Davis: 100%
Hambright: A fellow brother in Christ!
Davis: Come on now, you what it is!
Hambright: I was wondering where all the joy came from, I had to know! You know? I love it… that’s fruit of the spirit, I love that.
Davis: Come on! Man, you going to get the preacher in me going!
During the interview, a member of the Turning Point chapter asked MAGA Hulk what his max bench was, and to those of you wondering, it’s a whopping 500 pounds.
Davis then proceeded to explain why he loves to take his time with guests after an event and be sure that everyone who wants to take a photo with him or meet him is able to do so before taking off.
Mr. Davis then proceeded to grab dinner with the Turning Point USA executive board and a few members of the Free Pack at a local restaurant. The event was a safe success with no complications in regards to protesters or administrative pushback from NC State.
From the Editor: Events like this are always a refresher to politically engaged minds; whether you’ve been in politics for years, or are just starting out- speeches like the one from Stephen are always a great reminder that ludicrous ideas like CRT are being taught in schools and encouraged by leftist politicians and democrats alike. It’s important to beware these topics, not just for the sake of what is true and good- but for the sake of the country and the future of our American sons and daughters.
